Jean-François Donzier received his Award from Chinese Vice Prime Minister, HE Ma Kai, during the ceremony held at the Government Palace Zhongnanhai, September 29, 2016, in Beijing.
He was also received as part of 67th anniversary celebrations of the People's Republic of China by the Chinese Premier HE Li Keqiang, October 1, the People's Palace Beijing (Great Hall of the People) and then invited to the official dinner Chinese National Day.

It is the Chinese State Administration for Foreign Expertise (State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs -SAFEA) which annually selects the foreign experts that have contributed notoriously to China's progress in all areas.
